A full reset is sometimes referred to as a hard reset. Perform a full reset when you want to clear all settings, programs and data from RAM. A full reset deactivates the battery the power button does not function until the battery is reactivated.
Caution if you perform a full reset, your Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi GT-P1010 returns to its default settings and looses all information that is not recorded in ROM.
When the reset happens:
It becomes un-responsive to any key press,The pulsing Samsung logo can be seen although there is no backlight,An area near the MicroSD slot gets warm.The only way to turn it back on if the battery hasn't been drained is to force power off by holding the power button for 10 seconds.To get it back to normal?!? you have to connect it to Kies or do a reset factory settings.
