I have an attorney who is importing two trucks for me from the United States. I need to send him a Mexico Power of Attorney in order to Nationalize the trucks and get license plates and registration.
Do all parties have to be present or can we sign in front of one notary and send it to the attorney; then he can sign it in front of another Notary?
Thank you for any help you can offer.
What you need, its a notarial power that authorize the attorney here in mexico to do all you are requesting, like Nationalize the trucks and get license plates and registration here in mexico, is not that complicated, but you will need that the Public Notary, structure the power in order to do what you want with the trucks, i mean in not that you are going to structure the Notarial Power, is work that must be done by The Notary Publico in Mexico.
What i suggest, is order to get the Power for the attorney, there are many Publics Notary in Mexico, that have Online Services, so, you need search in Google for Publics Notary and contact them, they also speak english and can help you in order to succeed in what you are asking for.
Thank you. Does the attorney have to be present or can he sign in front of the notario at a different date?
the attorney can sign in different date, when he can go to the Publico Notary
Thank you. Can he sign in front of a different Notario? For example if he is in Guadalajara and we are in Mexico City?
Yes he can sign with a different notario, no problem with that
Thank you. Sorry for the basic questions, but it is good to know how it works here in Mexico.
Again, thank you for your help.
No problem, its a pleasure to help you
